We believe engineers should spend more time building, not digging.
OpenBay started with a shared frustration. As infrastructure grew more complex, we found ourselves spending more and more of our day just fighting with our tools.
We were staring at outdated documentation pages trying to figure out which obscure combination of shell flags would finally deploy our container. We watched brilliant software engineers waste hours trying to replicate a transient bug in a completely undocumented local environment.
It felt ridiculous. The terminal is the absolute core of software engineering, yet how we use it hasn't really evolved in decades. We knew there had to be a way to capture the institutional knowledge buried in engineer's brains and turn it into something tangible, shareable, and automated.
"We built OpenBay to be the execution layer we always wished we had: intelligent, instantaneous, and radically simple."
Today, we're building the standard for CLI automation. We are combining the raw, unhindered power of the terminal with the semantic understanding of AI agents to create a seamless extension of your engineering team.
We aren't here to replace the terminal or obscure it behind another heavy dashboard. We're here to make your terminal work for you.
